The Fall

"Welcome to the fall.." - there is a Ministry song which I absolutely love which pretty much states the theme. It's time for the fall again. I love Autumn as it's (probably) my favourite time of year, I was born in the Fall. There are many types of falls: water falls, falling leaves, the rise and fall of the stock markets. The cyclical nature of falls is an emergent theme in nature which is all about cycles of life. I collected my first red Canadian maple leaf of the year and got the lawn-mower out to mulch the heck out of the rest. I'm looking forward to bringing in the last of my Mint Crop from the rental. There will be more fall theme and pictures to come.. But until then don't fall asleep this is one blog you don't want to miss!

I finally have a blog

Hello,

Believe it or not, I finally have an external blog. I've resisted getting a blog on a blogging site for a long time. Primarily because I am concerned that by entrusting my precious verbiage to an online forum not under my control I will loose the freedom and control I would have with my own blog on a colocation or host which I own. The difficulty comes when you consider the amount of time you spend setting up blogs and other online software and the convenience of a prefab blog. So I've decided to go with the flow (the unentrenched masses) and start spooling off the tremendous legends which I have to disclose.

Past's Present is a blog which is meant to touch upon common themes in my life including technology, religion/philosophy and the common elements between the past and present decades of my life. I feel I have missed numerous opportunities and been disadvantaged unspeakably.. so why not blog it all, instead of spewing nonsensical jibber-jabber on IRC or in e-mail. That way everyone can share in my torment and laugh or cry at my misfortunes. Hurrah! Humanity is behind by at least 1 decade, and I'm walking proof of it.
